Why I vote commemorates the brave civil rights activists-both known and unknown- who risked life and limb during the turbulent 1950’ & 60’s. Freedom riders, lunch counter sit-ins, Birmingham protestors, The Little Rock Nine, Dr. King, & Bloody Sunday all are captured in this dynamic shirt. It is often said, “when you don’t know your history you are bound to repeat it”! To all onlookers this shirt truly conveys “I know Our-story & who paved the way”!
